Problems in accessing housing rights comprise of several segments – continuous forced evictions, substandard living conditions, inability to access social housing and the lack of legal security of tenure. Neither of these segments has systemic solutions provided in domestic legislative framework. Right to adequate housing is connected to series of other economic, social and cultural rights – right to water, right to electricity, right to education, employment, social subsidies, etc, and the inability to access to right to adequate housing consequently prevents or restricts access to other rights.
